Specialists from our laboratory successfully carried out the technology transfer and validation of the analytical method for determining the potency of recombinant human erythropoietin at the National Institute for Control of Vaccines and Biological Products (NICVB) in Vietnam.

As part of the project, the method was implemented and standardized in the NICVB laboratories under the operational conditions of the Vietnamese institution, demonstrating its adequate reproducibility and analytical performance. Likewise, a specialized training and capacity-building process was developed for the institute's technical and scientific personnel, strengthening their skills in performing the assay and handling the associated methodologies.

Among the main results achieved are the successful validation of the analytical method and the technical preparation of NICVB staff for the routine application of the procedure in control and evaluation activities for biotechnological products.

This collaboration represents an important step in strengthening scientific and technical ties between both institutions, opening new opportunities for future joint projects. Planned actions include a visit by Vietnamese specialists to Cuba as part of practical training programs in experimental work and laboratory animal handling.

The development of cooperation initiatives of this type contributes to knowledge exchange, the strengthening of regulatory and analytical capacities, and the advancement of international collaboration in the biotechnology and quality control fields.
